How to Draw a Vintage Hockey Goalie Mask

I put together this guide to show you how to draw a classic old-style hockey goalie mask. It’s based on the iconic design with large eye holes and multiple round vents. The shape is fairly symmetrical and doesn’t rely on too much detail, which keeps the process straightforward. Good for practicing shape consistency and spacing.

Main Features of the Old Hockey Mask Drawing

  • Oval mask base with slight taper near the chin
  • Two large circular eye holes placed evenly
  • Multiple oval and round vent holes arranged in rows
  • Small nose opening in the center below the eyes
  • Simple side extensions for strap connectors

You could also try drawing an imperial gas mask, an alien face and predator masks next, to add more designs to your collection.
