Hello again, Artist! With this post, I’m starting a series of guides for Cuphead game characters. And sure, we’ll begin by learning how to draw Cuphead in 3 different styles: his full body, Power Ghost, and his head in Invincibility Super Art mode.
Cuphead’s Style
- Cup-shaped head and wide eyes, complete with the trademark straw.
- Long-sleeve shirt, gloves, and shorts for the full body sketch.
- For the Power Ghost, capture his ghostly, muscular, determined stance.
- When sketching his Invincibility Super Art, focus on his jubilant expression and filling in the eyes.
The tutorials for Mugman and other popular ones are in the process of making.
How the Guides are Structured
These guides are based on image-led steps, each adding more detail to your Cuphead drawings. The colors in the images are:
- Red Color: The current step’s additions.
- Black Color: Previous steps’ lines.
- Grey Color: The initial sketch lines.
Starting with a basic sketch, we’ll progressively add depth and character. The final step of each guide allows for inking, after which you should allow the ink to dry before erasing any pencil marks for a clean look.
