Caine built the Gloink Queen as the final boss of his adventure game, but she ended up being one of the creepiest creatures in The Amazing Digital Circus. This tutorial shows how to draw the Gloink Queen from TADC alongside a handful of her Gloink children scattered around her base.
Tackling the Mother of All Gloinks
This one runs 25 step-by-step images, with the final image being the fully colored result. The Gloink Queen’s body is basically one long worm-like shape that coils on itself, which sounds simple until you start placing all the eyes, spots, and teeth. The small Gloinks sitting around her add extra detail work at the end, so save your patience for those last few steps.
The Gloink Queen’s Key Features
- Red worm body covered in yellow spots
- Two blue stripes running full length
- Zipper-like mouth lined with sharp teeth
- Eleven eyes on each end of her body (not all of them are visible here)
- Small colorful Gloinks scattered at her base
The show’s villain roster makes for a fun drawing session. Caine in his God Form is another monstrous design from TADC with a lot of body parts to keep track of. On the lighter side, Pomni the jester and Ragatha offer simpler shapes if you want a break between complex sketches.
How the Step Colors Work
Each step image uses three colors so you always know what to draw next:
- Red Color: lines added in the current step.
- Black Color: lines completed earlier.
- Gray Color: base sketch for structure.
