Shizuku Kurogane is a student at the prestigious Hagun Academy, where students with magical abilities compete for the title of ‘Blazer’, the strongest magician in the world. However, Shizuku has no magic of her own, and is often looked down upon by her classmates. Despite this, she is fiercely loyal to her friend and fellow student, Ikki Kurogane, who is known as the ‘Worst One’ due to his lack of magical ability. When Ikki is challenged to a duel by Stella Vermillion, a powerful Blazer from another academy, Shizuku agrees to be his swordswoman in order to protect him.
