If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to draw an Axolotl from Minecraft, you’re in the right place. This one’s all about the blocky, frilly pink version of the creature — just like you’d spot it in-game. The drawing isn’t overly complex, so it’s manageable even if you’re just starting out with drawing Minecraft characters.
Breaking Down the Minecraft Axolotl
- Squared head and body with clean cube-like edges
- Large square-shaped eyes set toward the front corners
- Frilly external gills made of zigzag shapes on the sides and top
- Four pixelated limbs (two are fully visible from our perspective) in cross-like shapes. The front ones have those zigzag shape at the base.
- Tail fin has a similar zigzag pattern, rectangular in shape
- Main color is soft pink with darker pink for limbs and frills
You could try sketching other Minecraft mobs next like the Creeper, a Zombie, or maybe even the Enderman if you’re in the mood for tall and spooky.
Let’s Talk Drawing Blocks
This guide uses a simple visual system to help follow along:
- Red Color: lines for the current step you’re drawing
- Black Color: lines you’ve already drawn
