Toulouse is the eldest kitten in the family. He is named after the city of Toulouse, France. Toulouse is a handsome orange tabby kitten with black stripes. He has large green eyes and wears a blue collar. Toulouse is playful and mischievous, often getting into trouble with his siblings. However, he is also brave and protective of his family, especially when they are in danger. Along with his sister Marie, Toulouse is one of the main animal characters in The Aristocats. Other animal characters include Berlioz, a young kitten who is Toulouse and Marie’s brother; Frou-Frou, a pampered poodle; Scat Cat, a street-wise alley cat; and Roquefort, a mouse who befriends the kittens and two adorable British geese twin sisters – Abigail and Amelia.
