Hello to everyone who came here to figure out how to draw Isha from the final scene of Episode 6 in Arcane Season 2, where she performs Jinx’s iconic finger-gun gesture before firing Hextech-powered shots at Vander/Warwick. Now that Arcane has gained even more fans (including myself), and the soundtracks from the second season are playing everywhere, it’s a perfect moment to revisit this tragic yet beautifully directed conclusion to the second arc and capture Isha in this defining moment.
Essential Details About Isha’s Appearance
Not much is known about this young girl, but we’re here to capture her brave and determined expression, with a slight squint in her eyes. Let’s quickly run through the main features of her appearance in this scene:
Hair Color: In this scene, her hair has been dyed blue to match Jinx’s. She is no longer wearing her hat or helmet, leaving her hair fully visible.
Eyes: Large, expressive amber eyes.
Face: A thin, youthful face with soft features and a serious expression.
Pose: Her iconic finger-gun gesture and intense gaze are key to capturing the scene’s dramatic atmosphere.
Once you’ve finished drawing Isha, you might want to try illustrating other characters from Arcane, like Jinx or Vi, to expand your exploration of this world. I also have a different guide for Isha from the same scene but a few minutes earlier, where she’s still wearing her hat.
Understanding the Drawing Process
This guide uses a step-by-step approach with a color-coding system to help you stay organized and focused:
Grey Color: Marks the basic sketch to establish the structure and proportions.
Black Color: Indicates the completed lines as you refine the details.
Red Color: Highlights the current step you’re working on.
By following this system, you can ensure that each stage of your drawing is clear and manageable, even for a complex pose like Isha’s.
Step 1: Draw a circle as the base for the head. Add a vertical and a horizontal lines crossing the circle to indicate the direction of the face and help position facial features.
Step 2: Sketch simple lines for the hand showing the finger gun gesture, along with an outline for the visible shoulder on the other side. Add short guidelines for the eyes, nose, and mouth. These details are essential for the Isha drawing layout.
Step 3: Since the hand overlaps part of the face, start drawing Isha’s the hand first. Focus on the index and middle fingers pointing forward.
Step 4: Add the other two fingers and outline the glove’s outer part.
Step 5: Sketch Isha’s thumb, which represents the gun’s sight in this gesture, and finish the lower part of the glove below it.
Step 6: Draw the face outline starting above the hand. Curve the line through the chin and up to the cheekbone on the other side.
Step 7: Complete the remaining frame of the face by adding Isha’s hair along the sides and the forehead area.
Step 8: Sketch the fringe in the middle of the forehead, extending down between the eyes.
Step 9: Draw the outlines of the eyes, nose, and a center line for the mouth.
Step 10: Add the eyeballs, leaving blank spaces for the highlights as shown in the guide. Draw the lips and include a small line below the bottom lip to define the chin shape.
Step 11: Add pupils to the eyes, filling them in with black. Leave two highlight shapes in each pupil to add depth.
Step 12: Sketch Isha’s eyebrows and enhance the eyes. Thicken the upper eyelid outlines for eyelashes, and draw lines above and below the eyes to represent expressive eyelids.
Step 13: Begin sketching the hair, starting from the sides of the head.
Step 14: Add another layer of hair on the right side and outline part of her pigtail.
Step 15: Sketch the shoulder, the visible part of her vest, and the arm to complete its outline.
Step 16: Finish the pigtail and add a small section of hair visible between the pigtail and the head.
Step 17: Let’s continue drawing Isha’s hair. Sketch the overall outline of the hair, starting from the sides and extending to the top of the head.
Step 18: Add another layer of hair tufts on the left side for volume and detail.
Step 19: Include more hair tufts within the hair outline and two tufts at the bottom left area.
Step 20: Draw the simple choker around her neck and add lines to outline the vest visible below the hand.
Step 21: Review your drawing of Isha, fixing any mistakes or missing lines. If satisfied, consider inking it for a clean finish. After the ink dries, gently erase any pencil marks or guidelines. Inking involves carefully tracing over the lines with a pen or marker, ensuring precision and a polished look.
Step 22: Before finishing this guide on how to draw Isha, you might want to color her or add some shading. Refer to the colored version provided below. Use it for coloring your drawing or as a shading map if adding depth with pencils or other mediums.
